The Archuleta County Treasurer’s Office and the Pagosa Springs Chamber of Commerce have partnered to offer free classes on Counterfeit Currency Detection and Prevention. Deputies Samantha Armitstead and Diane Maun will teach you how to detect counterfeit money and what to do when you are presented a bogus bill. There will be 2 one hour classes offered on Thursday, February 8th . The first class will be held at 9:00 a.m. and the second class will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Archuleta County Administration Building, 398 Lewis Street.
