Event Description: The Pagosa Springs Community Gardeners present Free Gardening Talks all summer-long. The seventh talk in the series will feature Ron Chacey, the region's foremost organic gardener, "Cool and Warm Weather Crops: A Study in Microclimates." Ron espouses that almost any crop can be grown in the difficult-to-garden Pagosa Springs area. He will present the nuts and bolts of creating appropriate microclimates to bring the more commonly grown vegetables to full production. The talk will be held at the River Pointe Coffee House meeting room, 445 San Juan on the riverwalk in downtown Pagosa. All talks are free and open to the public. For the full schedule and information on the Pagosa Springs Community Garden, email [email protected] or visit facebook.com/PagosaSpringsCommunityGarden.
