The SJOC is a volunteer non-profit organization whose members are responsible for planning, leading and educating members towards outdoor activities. We provide recreational opportunities for the membership such as camping, hiking, skiing, biking, rafting, backpacking, four wheeling, birding and much more. We also provide community services such as assistance with Loaves and Fishes and other local charities. Our club is open to anyone who wishes to join. We meet the 1st Thursday of each month at the PLPOA Clubhouse. Each meeting has a social time with appetizers and refreshments, plus a guest speaker or special program geared towards enjoying the outdoors in the Pagosa Area. PLEASE NOTE: GENERAL CLUB MEETINGS ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID.
