Our mission is to promote a sustainable community with a primary focus in Archuleta County. The widely accepted Brundtland Report defines sustainability as that which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. SOS sponsors events throughout the year including the Pagosa Farmers Market held during the summer.

SOS is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Board meetings are held the third Monday of the month at 3:30pm in the Chamber conference rooom and are open to anyone. For more information call 946-9024.
