Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC) is nestled in one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Colorado in the small resort town of Pagosa Springs.
PSMC opened in January of 2008 and is part of the Upper San Juan Health Service District that was formed in 1981.
The District's boundaries include virtually all of Archuleta County and the portions of Hinsdale and Mineral Counties south of the Continental Divide.
PSMC is a Critical Access Hospital offering a full spectrum of healthcare services including 24/7 emergency room and first-responder emergency medical services, inpatient, orthopedic and general surgery, gastroenterology, radiology including mammography, neurology, cancer care center with infusion therapy, primary care with same day appointments 5 days a week and walk-ins 6 days a week including prenatal and women’s health, behavioral health, lab, cardiology, telemedicine, ENT (ear, nose, and throat) services and more.
