Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership is building a botanic park in downtown Pagosa Springs. This exciting project is an educational 501(c)3 that engages locals and tourists in “growing food and community with local energy.” Goals include year-round food production, environmental education and demonstration of direct-use geothermal energy.

Three greenhouses are planned on the San Juan River Walk in Centennial Park: the Education Dome, the Community Garden Dome and the Innovation Dome. The operational Education Dome hosts youth and adults in horticultural learning experiences. The next two greenhouses were constructed in spring 2018.

Professional landscaping and educational signage will be installed as the construction timeline allows. A stunning outdoor amphitheater on the banks of the San Juan River already provides a gathering place for community events. GGP values its collaboration with the Town of Pagosa Springs and its many supporters in creating this touchstone of botanic and economic vitality.

We hope see you in the GGP gardens!
